"the series was later announced to be premiering globally on Paramount+ at Nickelodeon's upfront in March 2022."

But we are on June? So has the Series already premiered? (AutoTrooper2801 (talk) 15:51, 15 June 2022 (EDT))

That sentence is probably written badly; it's referring to an announcement that was made in March 2022; I don't think we have a release date yet. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 18:39, 15 June 2022 (EDT)
Oh, I take it back, they said November. Let me edit that in. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 18:42, 15 June 2022 (EDT)

Where’d the new cast list come from? Chip (talk) 18:01, 9 October 2022 (EDT)

An official press release. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 20:24, 9 October 2022 (EDT)
Thanks. I assume Hardtop is that guy I’ve been calling Snow Cat for the past month, but we’ll see. Chip (talk) 11:15, 10 October 2022 (EDT)

Coverage Can Start Now?

Like the UK had the entire ep released, is it's safe to say we start the coverage? (And on side note will it be reliable for me to watch and not be abruptly cancelled off to force me on paramount+? I can't find it on my local Nick.)

The whole season is publicly available on P+ and can be covered here, though all episode and character entries should be spoiler-protected through Dec 11. As of now I don't think we know of any episodes on Nick after the first two; those may well have been a teaser meant to get more streaming subscribers.
Before we really start the entries, though, I think we all need to be clear up-front on the continuity positioning of this show...

Plot details for Earthspark season 1 follow.

This show is a G1 offshoot continuity, as much as Regeneration One or Beast Machines or Last Bot Standing. The carry-over characters should be listed as their G1 selves. I personally think this is obvious, but there should be community discussion / acknowledgment before anyone starts the heavy lifting on a whole season's worth of stuff. --Thylacine 2000 (talk) 15:59, 11 November 2022 (EST)
Unless this cartoon is explicitly a sequel to preexisting G1 fiction, I'm not seeing the need? Cyberverse was pretty much G1, but we decided then that every major reboot gets separate articles because the G1 wastebasket taxon is overloaded as is. Saix (talk) 16:08, 11 November 2022 (EST)
Pretty explicit. They show a bunch of Sunbow character models and scenery and Sunbow Cybertron and the narrator says "Here's this, that, and the other of our cast members as they looked in September 1984!". This is not a first-contact-with-Earth, blank slate show like Cyberverse. Some recognizable permutation of G1 season 1 (and possibly more) happened and was then covered up as events diverged. --Thylacine 2000 (talk) 16:20, 11 November 2022 (EST)
Except the backstory is VERY different. No Ark, no contact with Cybertron in at least 30 years. No one on Earth knows if Cybertron still exists. And the first contact is touched on with the details on the Transformer War that happened. We just haven't been given full details yet. EarthSpark is doing it's own thing, just giving some nostalgia nods with the G1 flashback images, similar to Animated's war footage and Armada's use of G1 character models, just more explicitly.
