The herald of Unicron known as Grand Scourge possesses the Dark Combination Spark (ダーク・コンビネーションスパーク Dāku Konbinēshon Supāku), an evil inverse of the Combination Spark granted by Primus. It allows Grand Scourge to forcibly combine with components and even individuals against their will.

Fiction

During battle with Optimus Prime, Grand Scourge managed to dislodge hi Digger-3 drill tank unit from its place on his leg, toppling Optimus. Grand Scourge then detached Flame-3 from his right arm, replacing it with Optimus's Digger-3, and attacked him with a diving double drill press! Optimus Prime VS Scourge Episode.2

Unite Warriors

During Unicron's attack on Cybertron in 2021, Grand Scourge supported his master by forcibly combining with Trickdiamond and Thrust, becoming "Scourge Grand Prime" and heading into battle with the planet's defenders. Ruination Chapter, Part Two
