Alligaticon

- Alligaticon is a drone from the cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
The Alligaticon is a Reptilicon drone made by the Constructicons from the remains of the disassembled Optimus Prime.
It was purportedly big and heavy.

Fiction
The Transformers cartoon
The Alligaticon was created by the Constructicons from the remains of the disassembled Optimus Prime after he was captured by the Decepticons. The creature was let loose into the sewers beneath New York City which was being redecorated into New Cybertron. Scrapper noted that they made good use of Prime's remains.
In the sewers, the drone encountered the Autobots Ratchet, Hound, Mirage, and Bumblebee, who believed it to be a simple mindless beast. They tricked it into an abandoned train, where it got trapped and sent down the tracks. It was only later that they realized that Optimus Prime had been disassembled after encountering his head in the Decepticon base. Hound finally realized why his scanner kept picking up Prime when the Alligaticon attacked.
They sought the creature again in the sewers, where they struggled to capture it until Prime used his remote controls to bring the beast in line. After that, Ratchet used the parts to reassemble Optimus Prime at the expense of the poor Reptilicon Alligaticon. Talk about animal cruelty. City of Steel
Kre-O online manga
The Decepticons reassembled the Alligaticon by stealing Optimus Prime's parts while he was sleeping. When they confronted the Autobots, Prime used his mental control of his body to disassemble the Alligaticon and reform a Mega-Optimus body for himself. Negligence Is the Greatest Enemy! Optimus Became a Monster!?

- Part of the third wave of Transformers ULTIMATES! from Super7, the Alligaticon is an 11-inch-long non-transforming figure. It makes ample use of clicking multi-swivel joints to give its limbs a relatively wide range of motion, plus tail jointing, mid-body bend, and an opening jaw.
- It comes with multiple "City of Steel"-themed accessories, including a tower with an arm... with a hand at the end... holding a gun!
- Preorders for the Alligaticon (and the rest of Wave 3) opened on December 1st 2021, with the toys projected to ship in fall 2022, a vague date Super 7 missed.
Notes
- Given the context, the Alligaticon is pretty clearly a reference to the urban legend of alligators in the sewers of New York.
