While sleeping, Optimus find his body stolen!
Synopsis
[edit]Optimus Prime wishes everyone a happy new year and looks forward to another year of fighting for peace and freedom, but this may prove difficult as Jazz rightly points out the commander has been reduced to a disembodied head! Prime believes the Decepticons have taken him apart in his sleep, a theory that proves correct when Megatron attacks using the Alligaticon, a monster created from Prime's parts.
Optimus Prime uses telekinetic control of his blocks to take the Alligaticon and C-X apart, allowing him to recombine the blocks into Mega-Optimus and send the Decepticons packing. He then returns to his normal form to congratulate his troops on a job well done... not realizing his bottom half is still an alligator!
And so, the battles of the Super Block Lifeform Transformers continue.

Notes
[edit]- As of this issue, the artist/writer switched to Makoto Wakabayashi, who retains the habit of making up new non-toy Kreons built using existing Kre-O parts.
Transformers references
[edit]- This chapter is based on the Generation 1 cartoon episode "City of Steel", right down to Optimus Prime's arm being mounted on a building.
- Mind(s)wipe and Weirdwolf are present because of the Alligaticon's resemblance to Skullcruncher, their usual saurian buddy.
