Starscream was once a high-ranking member of the Decepticons. Despite the many years that have passed since the end of the war, he remains just as devious as ever—and every bit as dangerous.

Starscream served under Megatron during the war between the Autobots and Decepticons, until Megatron's defection to the Autobots sometime after their arrival on Earth. He partook in the Battle of the SpaceBridge, trying to prevent the former Decepticon leader from hurling the AllSpark back to Cybertron. Optimus Prime's destruction of the spacebridge, as well as the loss of the AllSpark, brought the war to a swift end. Secret Legacy, Part 1 Warzone
Years later, Starscream was captured and imprisoned in a secret G.H.O.S.T. detention facility. Undeterred, he watched with glee as recent inmate Soundwave released Ravage into the facility to perform recon. Decoy While still a prisoner, Starscream glared angrily as he watched Skullcruncher be experimented on by G.H.O.S.T. that left his fellow Decepticon prisoner weakened and depleted of energy.
