Hiroyuki Hataike (幡池裕行 Hataike Hiroyuki), sometimes credited as Takehiko Itō (伊東岳彦),[1] is the Japanese artist who designed "Planet-Robot," the earliest known draft of the concept that would become Unicron.[2] Outside of the Transformers brand, he is known to have previously provided TakaraTomy with illustration work for the pre-Transformer franchise Diaclone.
