The frog civilian is an amphibious Velocitronian. Yeah, we didn't think frogs were that fast either. Must be something in the energon.

As Knock Out prepared to be sworn in as Velocitron's First Senator, the frog civilian was among the many innocent Velocitronians caught up in the chaos of the Mayhem Attack Squad's... attack. Mayhem had already sealed off the exits before storming the Senate building, so the frog civilian and the other onlookers could only stand by and watch as the Wreckers fought to keep them safe. - The frog civilian was conceptualized by Rebecca Ann, significant other of IDW Transformers editor David Mariotte, with artist Jack Lawrence adding the character at their suggestion.[1][2]
- The frog civilian has a colour palette drawn from the transgender flag.
