While his friends were dodging laser fire and trading blows, Beachcomber was learning to speak parakeet and communing with nature. He also found a golden lagoon full of electrum. • The Paradise Parakeet's name is similar to that of the paradise parrot, which tragically went extinct 100 years ago. Hopefully this one doesn't die out anytime soon.
