Sam was backed into an alley by a mugger when Nightshade appeared, chasing the mugger off. She was, at first, scared by the newcomer, who grabbed them and whisked them into the air, eventually stopping on a rooftop. Nightshade was interested in the pronoun pin on their backpack, leading them to bond over their mutual non-binaryness and Sam apologized for their earlier reaction to the Bot.
