Classic Covers Calendar

In 1989, as part of its blowout 200th issue, the Marvel UK Transformers comic introduced the "Classic Covers Calendar", celebrating is history with a two-page spread of artwork. What could go wrong?

What went wrong

• January couldn't even spell "Calender" correctly!
• Required dismantling the comic
• Never on time for the 1st
• June published before May
• Flat recolouring
• Small pool of covers
