TIE Pilot

TIE Pilots are human spacecraft pilots for the Empire from the Star Wars universe.

TIE Pilots make up the airborne might of the Galactic Empire, operating a vast array of specialized starfighters to ensure the dominance of Imperial airspace. Some of these pilots command specialized TIE Bomber units capable of transforming into large mechs to more easily wipe out their Rebel enemies.

Available in the second wave of 2008's Star Wars portion of the Transformers: Crossovers franchise, the TIE Bomber transforms from a double-pod TIE Bomber to a robotic TIE Pilot with giant "wing" kibble on his arms.

As it is part of the Crossovers series rather than Star Wars Transformers, it does not include a pilot mini-figure, though it does have a sculpted seat for a pilot figure in the pilot's dome, but unfortunately it doesn't fit them very well. The missile launcher slung under the bomb pod detaches to form a handheld gun in robot mode which can also fire a projectile.
