You do know that it is a valid spelling? —Interrobang 09:45, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
- And is is consistent with words like "arrangement" and "engagement"? —Interrobang 09:47, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
- I changed it to resemble the American spelling. I wasn't aware we used the British spelling on this Wiki. There is no need to get bent out of shape about it, however. :( C.V. Reynolds 09:49, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
- Transformers isn't an American-only thing, and we have more than our share of British editors. This is simply a reminder of the validity of different spellings; I'm not "getting bent out of shape" over this. —Interrobang 09:53, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

- Well, I could do without the sarcastic rhetoric. Nevertheless, my edits were not incorrect, so I don't see a reason for them to be removed. I'll just be careful not to say "proper" any longer if I change a spelling (and won't change the word anymore, if it bothers you for me to do so). C.V. Reynolds 09:57, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
- I decided to revert my edits, because I don't want to screw with what others did and cause a culture clash of sorts. Thank you. C.V. Reynolds 10:08, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
- Err, what I mean is, I want to be considerate to others, and I'm worried about causing inconsistencies in the articles, too (colour, centre, etc). C.V. Reynolds 10:11, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
- Well, it's not as if we people of the Commonwealth are spelling words like 'jail' on this wiki as our obscure early modern english 'gaol'. You can still understand what we are saying as it's still considered correct english spelling. Plus one should consider the fact a significant portion of the Transformers fiction originated in the United Kingdom, whose articles about them here may have been written by non-American editors. --FFN 12:14, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, it's just a detail I missed in the Teletraan I policies (I didn't read to the bottom of the page, unfortunately). As you can see by my reverts, I understand what you're saying; I realized that I had screwed up and fixed what I had done. The fact is, I was in such a hurry to improve the Wiki with little work that I got over-zealous in my editing. C.V. Reynolds 00:30, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- I just realized that you likely misinterpreted what I said, FFN. Please don't think that I was saying that British people are causing inconsistencies. I meant that I was going to cause an inconsistency if I kept it up. Sorry for my weird wording. C.V. Reynolds 16:39, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
