Jongnic Bontemps

Jongnic "JB" Bontemps is an American film and television composer best known for scoring Steven Caple Jr.'s film The Land, the skateboarding documentary United Skates, and the 2023 video game Redfall. Having been mentored by Transformers live-action film series alumni Steve Jablonsky, Bontemps was eventually tapped to compose the score for Caple Jr.'s Rise of the Beasts.

• In the runup to Rise of the Beasts, Bontemps revealed that Jablonsky was present for the recording sessions. It was eventually revealed that Jablonsky in addition to producing, would also be contributing new material for the score.
• Bontemps also revealed in an interview with the TransMissions podcast that he would be using Vince DiCola's theme for Unicron from the animated movie. Awesome.
