WetaFX (formerly Weta Digital) is a visual effects company located in Miramar, Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand. It was founded by Peter Jackson, Richard Taylor, and Jamie Selkirk in 1993 to produce the digital special effects for the film Heavenly Creatures. The company went on to produce some of the highest-grossing films ever made in the 21st century, such as the Lord of the Rings trilogy, James Cameron's Avatar series, Peter Jackson's King Kong, the Hobbit trilogy, Chernin Entertainment's Planet of the Apes reboot series, and Marvel Studios' Avengers series.

The studio was involved in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, taking over VFX responsibilities from Moving Picture Company to complete the film's visual effects.
