Silverstreak is blue! He was in the cartoon, honest![1] Somewhere over there to the left. You just missed him.

- Part of the cross-franchise Buzzworthy Bumblebee subline, Legacy "Autobot Silverstreak" is a redeco of Earthrise Smokescreen with Earthrise Bluestreak's head in blue and silver "inspired by the animated series The Transformers."[1] Sure buddy. He converts from a robot to a car dimly approximating a Datsun 280ZX Turbo in 13 steps.
- Silverstreak was sighted at a Target in the United States in mid-March 2022 before any kind of official reveal.[2] Legacy Silverstreak would ultimately receive an official Hasbro Pulse pre-order on April 1 (no joke intended). Unlike previous figures in the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line, Silverstreak featured windowless packaging.
- Unfortunately Silverstreak utilizes the "Mark 1" version of the Earthrise Datsun mold before a running change retool enacted a variety of quality control fixes. As such, there are multiple reports of the clear plastic used for the roof being extremely fragile, which particularly affects the hinge that connects the roof to the rest of the figure.[3]

Notes

- You read that correctly: Bluestreak is silver, and Silverstreak is blue. This is notable because it's really funny.
- Silverstreak is also the only Generations Datsun whose bio invokes the Generation 1 cartoon. This is also really funny.
- Silverstreak derives his deco from the frequently homaged blue colorway of Bluestreak's mold in the pre-Transformer Diaclone toyline.
- The name "Silverstreak" is a reference to the alias frequently employed by Bluestreak when his trademark was unavailable in the 2000s.
- Hasbro designer Mark Maher explained that going out of his way to create a new mix of toolings distinct from the Earthrise uses of the mold was his way of "celebrating" that "every character is unique."[4]
