Notes

[edit]
  • Characters mentioned in Medusa's profile include: the Intruder Prime and Lord Imperious Delirious.
    • As mentioned in the comic this issue, Medusa was created by the Intruder Empire. The Intruders were a race of strongmen from another world from the Adventure Team toyline, and are described here as more close to that appearance then the aliens in the comic (presumably drawn generic as artist Naoto Tsushima most likely didn't know about them).
    • Medusa's duties were reassigned after an incident with the Intruder Prime and fake korlonium crystals; korlonium crystals were seen in The Transformers episode "A Prime Problem".
    • Among the devices used to torture Medusa when she was non-compliant were endoscopic claws, a torture tool seen in IDW Publishing's Last Stand of the Wreckers.
    • Like Lord Imperious Delirious in this issue's comic, Medusa has her special attack from her first appearance in Transformers in 3-D issue #3 mentioned: her Medusa Beams. While there they were depicted simply as being flames projected from her eyes, her profile describes them as physics-bending weapons that alter strong and weak nuclear forces of their targets, disintegrating them.
  • The More than Meets the Eye profiles in this issue have a unique Destructon insignia.
