Fiction
2019 IDW continuity
Kaskade joined her cell leader Ruckus along with Wirespike and Lowload in an attempt to siphon energon from a remote Energon transmission station following the destruction of the Rise base underneath the Memorial Crater. She was the only one worried about getting caught by the Security Operations, pointing out that things could go drastically wrong, like the incident with Brainstorm. Her fears were confirmed as Springer was shown waiting for them and it was only due to Lowload that they weren't captured. The four Ascenticons managed to escape and fled to a Rise fallback position in the Cybertronian Mountains, where they accessed a hidden cache of weaponry to defend their new position inside the head of an immersant Titan. The Change In Your Nature Part One
More officers were called in to deal with the burgeoning standoff. Despite Ruckus ordering her not to attack, Kaskade was the one who sniped Javelin, justifying it by saying Javelin was looking at her funny. Finally, Ascenticon senator Soundwave arrived to negotiate safe passage for the four bots, believing them to be simple criminals; however, Ruckus stupidly let slip some important details about Barricade's escape. When it became clear that the four 'bots couldn't fall into Autobot custody, Soundwave was forced to double cross the quartet and detonated the Titan's head. The Change In Your Nature Part Two Only Ruckus and Kaskade managed to survive. The Change In Your Nature Part Three Ratchet diagnosed them later, saying that while they had spark flickers, they had no mental activity and were left in a comatose state. Rise of the Decepticons: All Fall Down They remained as such long after the Autobots abandoned Iacon, with Flatline continuing to monitor them. Test Flight I As fate would have it, Kaskade was passed over by Exarchon in Provoke's body; instead, the Threefold Spark was reborn in the bodies of Ruckus and Flatline. Enigmatic
