Storybook Glen

[edit]

Did Marcelo misread 'Whitmann' as 'Whiteman' or something? --FFN 01:03, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

I speculate that Anthony Anderson hadn't been cast yet when Marcelo was doing illustrations- Dygert is a German name after all. So is Whitman originally, but it's also a common English name, which makes it more likely as an African American surname than Dygert. (To clarify; I speculate his character's name was changed when he was cast.)
I haven't been able to find a single prominent Whitman who was black, except Dane Whitman of course.
Does the Whitmann spelling show up in the novel, or is it a imdb perversion? That spelling appears completely fictional. -Derik 20:34, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
I have no idea. I can't even find any of the damn books here. Apparently our bookshops are too good to stock something as lowbrow as Transformers. --FFN 21:00, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Apparently that line of his is an internet meme now according to Rocketboom's site. Is that worth mentioning? Item42 11:28, 5 August 2010 (EDT)

He grew tired of the endless conflict and retreated to spend the rest of his existence in J'nwan. -LV 17:54, 28 June 2011 (EDT)

Whitmann’s mother?

[edit]

The article says:

…living under the shouty regime of his mother and grandmother

Does his mother appear or is even mentioned at all in the movie?--Elmimmo (talk) 03:48, 1 September 2023 (EDT)
