Radar Hover W Team

The Radar Hover W Team is a team of Autobot Micromasters from the Return of Convoy portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Radar Hover W Team (レーダーホバーWチーム Rēdā Hobā Daburu Chīmu, lit. "Radar Hover Double Team"), as the name implies, is a combination of the Radar and Hover teams, consisting of:

• Barrage the radar truck front half
• Heave the radar truck back half
• Power Run the hovercraft front half
• Strikedown the hovercraft back half

The Radar Hover W Team is the Japanese release of Barrage and Heave of the Astro Squad and Power Run and Strikedown of the Metro Squad. As Micromaster Combiners, the four robots can combine into two whole vehicles, or be combined with any other Micromaster Combiner toys. The Team also came with a Micro Trailer.

Notes

• The letter "W" is often used in Japanese media in place of the word "double", as the letter "W" (double-u) is pronounced the same as "double" in Japanese (daburu), making them interchangeable with one another. This same word play scheme was previously used for the W Cassettebots during The Headmasters.
