The name or term "Ramjet" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Ramjet (disambiguation).
Ramjet is a Decepticon-allied Mini-Con from the Armada portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.
If Transformers were to scale with the toys, Ramjet would be larger than Starscream...

Ramjet is a coward, pure and simple. He hides behind the bulk of his colossal partner Tidal Wave, who for some reason remains protective of the little guy. He's an opportunistic weasel who likes to push others into battles he's too chicken to enter himself. He's speedy in the air and pretty persuasive in speech, but those are about his only strengths.[1]

At my hand! It's so small compared to my forearm! It's freaking me out, man!

On Cybertron, Ramjet accompanied Tidal Wave in his rescue of Galvatron. During their battle with Overload and Rollout, Ramjet fearfully pointed out the visage of Unicron that loomed in the sky. Armada Volume 4

Ramjet was one of many Mini-Cons who came out of hiding on Earth to help in the final battle against Unicron. He joined his power with Over-Run and the other Mini-Cons in defending Cybertron from destruction. The End

A Mini-Con partner that makes SENSE? Impossible!
  • Tidal Wave with Mini-Con Ramjet (Giga-Con Class, 2003)
    • Takara ID number: MD-06
    • Takara release date: July 17, 2003
Available only with his larger partner Armada Tidal Wave, Ramjet transforms into a Dassault Rafale fighter jet. As a Mini-Con, he has a "Powerlinx" socket on his vehicle-mode underside which allows him to attach to any toy with a "Powerlinx" style 5 mm post; some toys have special Powerlinx posts that activate/unlock gimmicks when a Mini-Con is attached. He is designed to fold up and fit into the storage elevator of Tidal Wave's aircraft carrier portion.
Despite the deco changes to Tidal Wave in the Takara release of the set, the Japanese version of Ramjet is identical to the Hasbro release. Ramjet is also the smallest of the Armada Mini-Con molds.
This toy doubles as the Beast Wars: Uprising character Ram-Jet.

Built to Rule!

Dammit, that's COOL.
  • Ramjet (2003)
    • Accessories: Launcher, missile
A Ramjet Built to Rule! set was planned as part of the tail-end for the Armada series, but was cancelled. The set was reworked into the Energon Omnicon Skyblast for the exceedingly short-lived Energon Built to Rule! series.

Talk about low-budget flights! No food or movies? I'm outta here. I like running better.
  • Tidal Wave (Command Class, 2004)
    • Takara ID number: SD-04

For Energon, Ramjet was redecoed into varying shades of gray. He was only available with Tidal Wave.

Notes

Somewhere, Marty Sherman is crying.
  • Ramjet was originally planned to be a mini-boss in the Mid-Atlantic level of the Armada PlayStation 2 game. Storyboards shown in the game's "Extras" version reveal that the Mid-Atlantic area was originally going to be Easter Island and Ramjet was going to perform air strikes on the player as they approached Tidal Wave's warship mode.
