Cliffjumper

I really don't think Bumblebee turning red is a nod to Cliffjumper. I think it's a nod to what metals do when they get hot, and it happens all the time in cartoons. It seems a bit of a stretch, to me, to say it's a nod to Cliffjumper. Comments? --Sntint 23:16, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, that's not a real nod. It would be if BB would paint himself to red, but this is just coinstidence. --Hepathos 23:21, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
Of course it's not a nod to Cliffjumper. TF fans are generally desperate to find whatever idiotic, tenuous-to-excessively-literal-minded links they can to the most innocuous, meaningless things. This is why we have shit like the "Darksyde" and "Prowl II Owl". --M Sipher
That seems a little unfair. Anyone could have made the Darksyde mistake(plus great name) and having TWO Prowl's in a toyline is asking for trouble--GWolf

Article Expansion

Whew...well, that took a lot longer than I wanted, but I just couldn't let the awful initial draft from 12.218.42.136 stand. Speaking of which, do we have a template message for telling people to write up to wiki standards?--Apcog 06:35, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

I proposed one, but don't think we ever got around to making one. (You know, we really DO need a "special templates" page that just lists all our litlte unique boxes like the stubs, coming soons and bastards.) --M Sipher 16:19, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Ratchet's war wound

Does ratchet still have the wound on his left arm in this episode? --FortMax 19:39, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Autobots Don't Kill?

It's already mentioned how "cold" Bumblebee's tactic of running Nanosec into old age is. But if Bumblebee's smart enough to reason that making someone older will slow him down enough to catch him, he's smart enough to reason that when people get old enough, they die! In any event, Bumblebee is now directly responsible for making Nanosec's already artificially shortened life even shorter. Not something one expects the "good guys" to do, especially in a kid's cartoon.--G.B. Blackrock 00:50, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

I know, it's really ruthless. Decepticons would at least shot you right there and get it over with. Bumblebee is making him suffer. -- SFH 00:53, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
it probably won't even matter, since he'll probably be young again in the inevitable super-villain teamup.--Carrion 02:05, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
Probably have his aging staved off by Prometheus Black. Seems he'd have the knowhow.--RosicrucianTalk 02:46, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
Hey, Nanosec could have surrendered at any time — or just walked away. Bumblebee didn't make him do anything. JW 14:35, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Recurring Background Man

Is it just me, or is the irate customer at the bank in this episode the same guy saved while crossing the street in "Thrill of the Hunt"? And is this worth mentioning in the wiki proper at all?--Apcog 08:56, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

And watching "Total Meltdown" again, I spotted him as one of the dignitaries there for the unveiling of the new police droids. I guess the animators just like that design. Maybe he'll get a name and personality later in the series.--Apcog 00:45, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

What you're spotting is called an, "Incidental" in official terminology. Basically, with any given animated show, there are a whole bunch of incidental characters/props/etc that are designed and re-used over and over in cameo shots, crowd scenes, and so forth. This is done mostly to save time and money. Every show has incidentals. I don't really see how this is worth mentioning, except perhaps in the case of the incidentals that are an obvious nod to the G1 post-movie Witwicky family. Rose.T 17:07, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
