Rad Rogue is an Autobot-allied Mini-Con originally from the Japanese portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
"...and I want to steal all your Traaaaaaansformers, sugah!"

Rad Rogue (ラッドローグ Raddorōgu) is the fast-running leader of the Autobots (or Maximals; presumably those that accompany him, rather than the entire faction). He proclaims, "I will keep the rules of justice!"<ref>Micron Booster material</ref>

Rad Rogue is a minor repaint of the Classics Mini-Con Strongarm, transforming into a police car based on a 2006 Dodge Charger (but with the proportions messed up).
He was only available in the fifth "Micron Booster" assortment in Japan, where each figure came in its own blind-packed, individual box.
This mold was also used for Detectas, Cybertron Strongarm, Flatfoot, Universe Overcharge, and Mighty Stra.

Notes

[edit]
  • None of the Micron Boosters came with any Romanized names on their blindboxed packaging, and thus whether "Radrogue" should be spelled as one or two words in English is iffy. In 2015, Jim Sorenson went with the latter for Rad Rogue's story debut in the Facebook edition of Ask Vector Prime.
  • The original solicitations for Micron Booster Ver.4 labeled chase-piece Detectas as "Radrogue clear version" (ラッドローグクリアバージョン), which also appears on TakaraTomy's web-site. However, the actual toy-packaging labels the piece as a separate character from Rad Rogue.
  • Rad Rogue's mold is the only Mini-Con mold with Powerlinx sockets that are accessible only in robot mode by design: the sockets on the outside of his lower legs, which end up folded against his thighs inside his car mode. However, he still has other sockets that remain accessible in both modes.
