Kōji Kabuto is a human from Mazinger Z.

Kōji Kabuto (兜 甲児 Kabuto Kōji) is the pilot of Mazinger Z and the grandson of its creator Jūzō Kabuto. After overcoming Baron Ashura's deception, Kōji has found an ally in the Autobots in his fight to protect Japan from Doctor Hell and his Mechanical Beasts.

Chapter 2

While piloting Mazinger Z and defending the Photonic Power Laboratory from Baron Ashura's mechanical beasts, Kōji finds himself attacked by the Autobots. While picking up Bumblebee, who compares Mazinger Z's size to Devastator, Kōji is surprised to find that the Autobots care for each other after seeing Optimus Prime's reaction to his friend being attacked.

Kōji then uses Mazinger Z to shield Bumblebee from Baron Ashura, who has turned on both of them. Kōji requests the Autobots' help in the fight against Baron Ashura, and forgives them for their misunderstanding after they agree to fight together.
