Fallback (TF 2010)
From MediaWiki
| The name or term "Fallback" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Fallback (disambiguation). |
- Fallback is an Autobot from the movie continuity family (via the 2010 Transformers toyline.)

Fallback knows that the fastest way to get from point A to point B is a straight line, and he's not going to let any pesky rules or obstacles slow him down. If anyone or anything stands in his way, then too bad, he'll just have to smash straight on through it.[1]
Fiction

[edit]In Tyran 208.28 Gamma, Fallback was one of the Autobots who answered the summons to refuge on Earth following the stranding of the bulk of the Decepticon forces on Cybertron. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/08/21
Toys

[edit]
- Fallback (Deluxe Class, 2010)
- Accessories: 2 pistols
- Known designers: Andrew Scribner (deco artist)
- A redeco of Revenge of the Fallen Brawn, Reveal the Shield Fallback transforms into a modified Hummer HX attack vehicle. He is armed with a pair of removable pistols with grooves in the handles (which, in an undocumented feature, can be clipped to the thin ridges on his back or shoulder kibble) and a non-removable machine gun that can be positioned to aim over either shoulder in robot mode and is mounted on his roof in vehicle mode. As another undocumented feature, his head is mounted on a jointed neck strut, and can be pushed back to reveal his neck and bring his head up past his shoulders. The bars at the back are also compatible with 3mm clips. As part of the Reveal the Shield subline, he features a rubsign on his hood.
- The final toy lacks the chest faction sigil depicted in the stock photography.
- This mold also served as the model for the non-toy Beast Wars: Uprising incarnation of B'Boom.
Notes
[edit]- Many of the characters in the Reveal the Shield subline imprint, a spiritual successor to Classics, have been Generation 1 characters, so before Fallback was mentioned in an Ask Vector Prime Facebook post, it was plausible that the Fallback toy belonged to the wiki classification of Generation 1 Outback.
