Left: Unlike all of his other Marvel appearances (US and UK), the story "Vicious Circle!" from the 1987 Marvel UK Annual saw Goldbug colored based on his toy, with an entirely golden body and a blue head (but also with a blue Autobot insignia, for whatever reason).

Center: Titan's 2002 Fallen Angel trade paperback reprint of this story has Goldbug's colors changed to his default Marvel color scheme, with a golden head, blue forearms (both toy-inaccurate) and a red Autobot insignia.

Right: IDW's 2013 Classics UK Volume 4 trade paperback was based on the original Marvel UK printing rather than the Titan collection, and unlike numerous other attempts on behalf of IDW to "fix" the colors of characters in the "Classics" reprints of Marvel stories, Goldbug's colors in this story remain unchanged.
