The Light Sword (ライトソード Raito Sōdo) is one of Raiden's many weapons, a tube of energy that can cut through objects.

The Headmasters cartoon
When a group of Autobots, including the Trainbots, arrived to stop the rampage of a buridanka on Earth, Bruticus faced off the Trainbots, pulling out his purple-tinted Light Sword. The Trainbots combined into Raiden, who attacked with his yellow Light Sword. Head On!! Fortress Maximus

- The train rail for Kaen includes storage at the bottom for the Light Sword.
Notes
- The Light Sword exists simultaneously with the Kōken ("Light Sword"), another cartoon-original weapon used by Raiden in "Explosion on Mars!! MegaZarak Appears". Whether this means some wires were crossed during production of The Headmasters is unclear.
