Light Sword
The Light Sword (ライトソード Raito Sōdo) is one of Raiden's many weapons, a tube of energy that can cut through objects. It can also be wielded by Raiden's component Kaen individually as a massive arm blade.

[edit]When a group of Autobots, including the Trainbots, arrived to stop the rampage of a buridanka on Earth, Bruticus faced off the Trainbots, pulling out his purple-tinted Light Sword. The Trainbots combined into Raiden, who attacked with his yellow Light Sword. Head On!! Fortress Maximus
Transformers Go! Go!
[edit]While defending Mount Fuji from Megatron's enormous fortress-turned battle mech, Raiden attempted to block the behemoth's flurry of punches with the Light Sword. The blade shattered(!?) instantly, forcing Raiden to switch up with the sturdier Kōken. Shushupopo!! part 2

- Both releases of MPG Trainbot Kaen include the Light Sword accessory, which can be wielded by the Trainbots' combination, Raiden, or any of his individual components.

[edit]- The Light Sword exists simultaneously with the Kōken ("Light Sword"), another cartoon-original weapon used by Raiden in "Explosion on Mars!! MegaZarak Appears". Whether this means some wires were crossed during production of The Headmasters is unclear.
