Water gun

A Water Gun is a device that weaponizes pressurized jets of liquid. Although the name would imply that such a weapon would be restricted exclusively to dispensing water, the title is often used loosely by Transformers, and used as a catch-all term for any weapon that is simply capable of firing water, regardless of what other substances can actually be fired from it. Many Cybertronians who transform into firetrucks come de facto equipped with a water gun due to their choice of alternate mode.

The "water gun" is Ironhide's nickname for the weapon that shoots various liquids. Traditionally, such liquids have included nitrogen and acid. Ironhide's weapon was once referred to as a "power nozzle". He attempted to use it to shoot superheated molten lead at Dirge, but due to running out of power only managed to spew out a harmless bit of steam. Attack of the Insecticons
