Convoy is dead! connection

Within the Kiss Players' continuity, the "Convoy Transfer Operation" alludes to the live-action video segment, "Convoy is dead! campaign short (コンポイが死んだ!キャンペーン篇)" later included on The Transformers: The Movie - Apocalypse: Be Eternal, Matrix VHS, in which "not-Tommy Kennedy" screams out in anguish as Convoy is airlifted through Manhattan as the origin-point of the operation. The Convoy Transfer Operation does not simply encompass the events of the Bay Bridge, it is a prolonged scheme by the EDC, which begins with Convoy's transfer from New York to Japan and beyond. Given the other nods woven throughout the Kiss Player franchise to other obscure Japanese lore and the explicit connections between New York/Manhattan and Japan menntioned across various Kiss Player media, and the fact that the Decoy Convoy Encyclopedia entry mentions that the decoy was constructed in Japan BEFORE the real convoy ARRIVED it is pretty clear that this prominant Japanese commercial is the origin point of the Convoy Transfer Operation. Just because one user does not remember the commercial, one that is embedded in the memories of a nation which had no access to The Movie at the time, is not a valid reason to discount an entire generation who does.
