Notes

• Zoids began in 1982 and has continued after Tomy's 2006 merger with Takara. At the time of the above IDW comic issue, Zoids was indeed in a dormant period, with Zoids: Wild not premiering until 2018.
• The Animated Decepticon Megadeath is described as transforming into a "Guylos EX-038 Assault Craft" from the first Zoids anime.
• Legacy toyline personnel Ben MacCrae and Mark Maher lampshaded the heavy Zoids influence that went into the beast mode of Legacy Thundertron by offering that the pirate had crash landed on the Zoid homeworld of Planet Zi and scanned one of the franchise's trademark ligers.
