Russia

Russia is a nation-state. It's the largest nation-state on Earth, stretching from Europe across Asia.

It used to be part of the Soviet Union, and the most dominant of its fifteen republics, but the band broke up in the early 1990s...we think.

• Originally in Escalation, the series identified the Soviet Union as the state that Brasnya was attempting to break away from. This was changed in Escalation issue 5 from the Soviet Union to Russia.
