Some undetermined time ago, Clench, Skyquake, Black Shadow, and Krok fell in battle against the Autobots. Their corpses were scavenged and placed in the main hall of Iacon, as Optimus Prime felt the hall needed some morale-boosting decoration. Shattered Glass
IDW Shattered Glass comic
Clench and Gutcruncher were doing rebuilding efforts in New Kaon when Blaster assaulted the city. Blaster shot Clench in the head, seemingly killing him. Shattered Glass II #2
Notes
- Clench's remains show him to clearly have had an Earth vehicle alternate mode. This would indicate that Clench possibly died shortly before the events of the comic, as the Autobots and Decepticons had only recently adapted Earth-based modes in anticipation of the journey to said planet.
