Template:Videogamecover

Description

This template is for documenting the source of an image which is a cover to a videogame.

It can accept five optional parameters to replace the text "the cover of", identify an excerpt, identify which cover (in the event of multiple covers for a game, such as a difference between the US and UK/Europe covers), identify the source of the image, the copyright holder and the console of origin. If the source parameter is left empty, the template will show a note directing the uploader to add this, including the publisher and artist when known.

Usage

Optional

• source - The title of the game the cover belongs to
• owner - The copyright owner(s) of the game
• console - The console(s) of origin.
• excerpt - Yes/no flag for whether the image is an except or the whole cover.
• cover - Description of the specific cover variant depicted, defaults to "the cover of"
