Ushiwakamaru strips for Benkei.

Ushiwakamaru (牛若丸) is a young samurai from the late Heian period and early Kamakura period of Japan.

He is implied to be the savior that was prophesied to Musashibō Benkei, who would become Benkei's master after defeating him in combat.

Notes

[edit]
  • Ushiwakamaru is the childhood name of Minamoto no Yoshitsune, a historical Samurai and general from the late Heian and early Kamakura period who, as his appearance in Go! suggests, became the master of the real-world Musashibō Benkei after defeating him in a duel.
