Brian Tyree Henry
Brian Tyree Henry (born March 31, 1982) is an American actor. He first came to attention in 2011 as one of the original cast members of the comedy musical, The Book of Mormon. The success of The Book of Mormon would have him venture into film and television, starting with his breakout roles as Alfred "Paper Boi" Miles in Atlanta, Jamal Manning in Widows, and Daniel Carty in If Beale Street Could Talk. Other films he starred in include Hotel Artemis, the Child's Play remake, Joker, Don't Let Go, Superintelligence, the Godzilla vs. Kong series, Eternals, Bullet Train, and Causeway, which earned him a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
In the realm of voice acting, he has voiced Officer Jefferson Davis in the Spider-Man: Spider-Verse franchise, Dancarino in Vivo, Leo Matienne in The Magician's Elephant, Cooper Wallace, Jr. in Bojack Horseman, and Elijah in Big Mouth.
Tyree Henry has the distinction of becoming the first African-American actor to voice Megatron in the franchise's history.
