- Dion is an Autobird from the Angry Birds Transformers franchise.

Dion helps the robotocized members of the Flock try and take back Piggy Island from the Eggbots.

[edit]Dion is an "Accessory" character, giving Autobirds he's attached to an increase to their defense. This bonus can be increased with level upgrades, won from random-prize Crates or in the "Shockwave's Tower" mini-game.
He can be unlocked by purchasing him with Gems in the Barracks, with Tokens during specific Challenge Events, or won from Crates and Shockwave's Tower. Angry Birds Transformers

Notes
[edit]- Dion, along with all the other Accessory characters with bird faces, could possibly be a "Hatchling", young birds that appear in various other Angry Birds games and media.
- Dion being attached to the birds based on Optimus Prime is, of course, a reference to the original Dion being friends with the pre-Optimus Orion Pax in the original cartoon. Him being attached to an Ultra Magnus may be a nod to the theory that Dion was rebuilt into him.
- It's very convenient that Dion's first toy is a redeco of Wheelie, who is also an Accessory character in this game, isn't it?
