Soundwave (G1)
Soundwave is a Decepticon who transforms into a Tape Recorder. In both forms he can hold smaller tranformers who transformed into Tape Cassettes.
Soundwave was one of the first Transformers to awaken on Earth. A Decepticon designed for Espionage, he uses his transforming ability to infiltrate any location unnoticed, and then records idle words around him to later report back to Megatron(G1). Anywhere he can't go, he will send one of his tape cassette minions, such as Lazor Beak, in his stead.
In the early days on Earth, Soundwave was invaluable to the Decepticon forces, as they searched for Energy sources to convert to Energon Cubes.
Completely loyal to Megatron, to point of being a "Brown Noser". In the Movie, it was Soundwave who struggled to take their fallen leader off the battlefield.
