- Storm Jet is an Autobot Aerialbot from the Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family (via the 2003 Universe toyline).

Storm Jet is a member of the Micromaster Aerialbots, who combine into Superion.

In Aurex 1104.30-DB Zeta, the Micromaster Aerialbots were born from Dr. Brian Jones's attempts at reverse-engineering Maximus combiner technology and applying it to Mini-Con anatomy. - Universe Storm Jet is a redeco of the Operation Combination Sixwing component Raker, transforming into a Space Shuttle Orbiter. He forms the right arm of the Aerialbots' combined mode Superion.
- The toy's larger connector socket is approximately 5 mm wide, making Storm Jet compatible with Powerlinx ports.
- Though the Micromaster Aerialbots were created as KB Toys exclusives, they barely showed up in the ever-shrinking chain. They saw more general release in Europe, and in the US eventually showed up at other chains like CVS drug stores and Big Lots!.
