Notes
- There are a LOT of visual similarities between the Staff and various depictions of the Forge of Solus Prime, to the point that they seem like identical objects:
- The bottom of the staff looks like the bottom of the Forge from concept art for Power of the Primes.
- It shares the same "circle/orb" visual at the top of the handle as the Forge (seen in the The Covenant of Primus artwork, the statue of Solus as seen in "The Sum and Its Parts" from The Transformers: Windblade Vol. 2 of the 2005 IDW continuity, the previously mentioned Power of the Primes concept art, and the later depiction of the Forge from Transformers One.
- Most of the Forge's depictions share a rough six-sided shape on its flat side... which the Staff also shares.
- Earthrise explicitly calls the object the "Staff of Solus" and not the "Forge of Solus Prime". This leads to two possible conclusions: #1: since it's called the Staff in the show, and there's been no confirmation that the Staff is the War for Cybertron trilogy version of the Forge, they're different objects that just happen look VERY similar to each other. #2: The creators of the cartoon trilogy chose to use a different name for the Forge, just like how they applied the "Dead Universe" name to the very unspace / infraspace acting location that ALSO appears in Earthrise episode 5, which means they ARE the same object, just with a different name. Take your pick.
