- Part of the sixth Series of BotBots, Bonehead the Unbrave transforms into a skull-and-crossbones decoration. The crossbones become handheld clubs, making them one of the few BotBots with accessories, and one of the even fewer with two.
- They were to be available in the "Treasure Chest Surprise Unboxing" sets, as one of six BotBots in ten mystery capsules (the other four having stickers inside). However, we do not know what the package breakdowns for those were planned to be, as the initial Series 6 that Bonehead was part of never materialized. A different Series 6 was developed for release in 2023, leaving Bonehead's release in limbo. That said, Bonehead and Rubeus the Red are shown in stock imagery as two bots available in clear capsules in at least one version of the set. What limited information we have on their planned availability comes from the BotBots Series 6 checklist found on Hasbro's customer service website in early 2021.
- Despite being one of several new sculpts designed for the originally-planned Series 6, Bonehead's mold was among those that were not carried over into the finalized Series 6, so no version of this mold ever saw release (which is a huge bummer).
