When Bumblebee went against Lockdown in single combat and got his diodes kicked, JD Red Knight rolled out from his Hasbro toy factory headquarters(?!) with Optimus Prime, a squadron of airborne drones, and a trailer containing a mysterious purple energy source after receiving the news via drone transmission. Arriving in the battlefield in truck mode, Red Knight deployed Joy and loaded the energy source onto him before sending the canine minion to assist Bumblebee and transforming to robot mode to destroy some enemy drones. Meanwhile, Joy successfully delivered his payload to Bumblebee, who absorbed it and used its power to unleash a pulse wave that blew Lockdown off his feet. Victorious, Red Knight and the Autobots took a moment to pat each other on the back. JD Red Knight commercial<ref>JD Red Knight commercial on JD's Facebook page</ref>

Another day, in a Panasonic factory that served as a secret Autobot facility, Joy was using a forklift to load Panasonic products into a trailer. Red Knight picked up another canister of mysterious purple energy and loaded it into the same trailer as an alarm went off. Optimus, Bumblebee, and Red Knight all went outside to investigate the disturbance. Two Lockdown-like robots approached the Autobots with intent to steal the purple energy. Red Knight was swiftly taken down with a single kick. While on the ground, Red Knight picked up a smart vacuum and used its suction power to suck one of the Decepticons away from the fuel source before it could be stolen. Following the Decepticon attack, Red Knight, Optimus, and Bumblebee were out with the mysterious purple energy source still in tow and accompanied by small drones carrying consumer goods. They stopped at another facility for Joy to load more of the energy source into Red Knight's trailer. Megatron flew in to pilfer the energy. Ordering Red Knight and Bumblebee to move out, Optimus took on Megatron, but was ignored as the Decepticon pursued Red Knight. Optimus managed to strike Megatron's wing, causing him to drop his pursuit and the victorious Autobots took off to their next destination. They arrived at a Jingdong facility, only to find Megatron already there. After Megatron defeated Bumblebee, Red Knight took his turn and attacked the Decepticon, only to be knocked aside. Optimus Prime and Megatron then had a duel with their swords, which was interrupted when Red Knight grabbed Megatron's arm and jabbed him in the face; taking the opportunity, Optimus knocked out his enemy. With the threat abated, the Autobots watched as their energy source powered up the facility. Mission Red 5 JingDong Micro Movie 3<ref>Mission Red 5 Micro Movie #3 on JD's Facebook page</ref>

The mighty return of Big Red!
  • JD Red Knight (Voyager Class, 2018)
Released as an exclusive for China's JD.com online shop (also known as Jingdong), Generations JD Red Knight is a red and black retooling of Age of Extinction: Generations Galvatron, transforming into a 2012 Freightliner Argosy, decorated with the Jingdong logo and mascot on its doors. In robot mode, JD features a new front chest and head. This toy lacks the weaponry of the Galvatron release... and sadly, does not include the robot version of the company mascot Joy from the commercials. Bummer.
This mold is a complete shellformer, with about 90% of the truck cab folding up into a flat panel backpack via spring mechanism in robot mode, and the remaining cab parts folding down over the back of his calves.
