Spider-Bot Probe
Spider-Bot Probes are small mobile diagnostic tools developed by Ratchet to help him repair ancient Cybertronian technology. Unfortunately they're easily confused by Earth tech.

Ratchet had four of the probes in his workshop in the Rescue Bot Academy which he was using to restore an old Cybertronian ship. Medix accidentally unleashed them and the four spiders ran amok in the base, interfering with Whirl's wind tunnel, disrupting the launch tubes while Wedge was working on them, and causing Hot Shot to mess up Hoist's museum display. Medix was able to round them up without the other Bots seeing, only for them to escape again when he was startled by Ratchet. Ratchet was able to use the probes' recall button to return them automatically to their docks much to Medix's embarrassment. Good Advice
