In a last ditch effort to raise their popularity, the cast work on ideas for a movie.
Synopsis
As Bumblebee notes that the second season is coming to an end, Lockdown asks if anything has been learned from their look back at past Transformers series. Bumblebee and Optimus Prime believe that despite their examination of the shows, there wasn't much to reflect on and pretty much anything goes, which makes Lockdown complain that that makes the whole exercise pointless. Jazz, Wheeljack and Red Alert scream up, as they've heard of the mission to become more popular and want to help. Jazz suggests creating buzz is essential and they should consider making Q-Transformers: The Movie. Optimus agrees and the Autobots set about brainstorming what will be in the movie.
The other Autobots insist Optimus goes first, and the Autobot leader immediately starts sweating profusely and complaining he's confused. Red Alert checks how many characters have appeared in the show so far, and ponders that if each character talks for about three minutes they'd be able to fill the time. Wheeljack suggests characters taking turns speaking to Optimus, while Bumblebee thinks they can have Optimus moving around to different locations. Wheeljack comes up with a pun for the word "movie" that he's proud of. Red Alert's idea is to assign Megatron the role of Optimus Prime's assistant, though the others don't think Megatron will go for it. Red Alert's next concept is to have Optimus and Megatron driving around in a pink van, picking up the other Autobots, which Bumblebee furthers by suggesting they tour the service areas from the previous season. Lockdown complains that they only have one female character. Wheeljack thinks that despite having car modes, they should need to buy tickets to get home.

Notes
Continuity notes
- Optimus's list of characters who have appeared in the show is arranged in order of first appearance. Oddly Optimus and Bumblebee appear multiple times, with their Movie and G1 forms counting separately. Hound, who only appeared in the background in "Mystery of Return of Convoy", and Skids, who only appeared as part of an illustration of something Bumblebee was talking about in "The Road to Winning a New Fanbase", are singled out at the bottom.
Real-world references
- This episode takes place outside AEON Mall Itabashi.
Trivia
- At the end of the credits, Optimus tells the kids to see the Q-Transformers at the movie theater.
- Despite the subject matter of this episode, no Q-Transformers movie was made. Possibly because the brainstorming session in this episode did not yield usable results.
- Though this would be the last episode of Q-Transformers, the following year Q-Transformers Arcee acted as host for 20th Anniversary Beast Wars: The Road to Resurrection, also written and directed by Kotaro Ishidate.
