Photon negator

My shoulder feels strangely empty.

Upon becoming an Action Master, Soundwave got a fancy new weapon with a cool name—the photon negator—which can combine with Wingthing to form a concussion cannon.

A redeco of Masterpiece Ratbat, Wingthing was only available in a limited edition "Encore" Masterpiece set from TakaraTomy Mall, along with Stripes, Nightstalker, and Enemy. According to his bio, Wingthing has a photon-negator built into his eyes.

• While Soundwave's instructions identify his weapon as a photon negator, they depict the pulse demagnetizer that was available with Treadshot instead. As a consequence, several toy information websites and identification guides (including Generations and the photograph to the right) depict Soundwave with Treadshot's weapon, using the instructions as a reference.
