Megatron joins the party to complain about the lack of post-release game development.
Synopsis
[edit]Playing Mystery of Convoy Returns, Lockdown dies to the Megatron boss and swears loudly. Optimus Prime and Bumblebee congratulate him on getting so far, and he responds that they can get as good as him if they practice. He's cut off by the actual Megatron ramming into him from behind, the Decepticon leader having come to complain that that the Mystery of Convoy remake hasn't been improved yet. When Lockdown asks if Megatron has been eavesdropping the whole time, Megatron laments that Lockdown got hooked on the game, calls him a fool and punches him. Optimus and Bumblebee change into their Generation 1-style bodies, and when Bumblebee notes that it's all very nostalgic, Optimus calls in the rest of the Autobots. Lockdown wants to know why only Generation 1 characters turned up. Megatron demands to know why Mystery of Convoy hasn't been made better, pointing out that it's a digital download now and can still get patches when Optimus protests that the game is already out. Lockdown suggests that updates might make the game worse, enraging Megatron further. The Decepticon leader reveals that the "mystery" of the title is the mystery of how Optimus Prime died, and if Optimus himself joins the cast of the game, it won't be the "Mystery of Convoy" any more.
Optimus realizes they will therefore need to come up with a new name for the game. Megatron goes first, deciding on "Transformers: Springtime Cherry Blossom Panic!" They realize this means they can incorporate a school entrance exam and sports event into the game, leading Lockdown to suggest swimsuits with wardrobe malfunctions. The others are confused at what the point of that would be seeing as they're giant robots, but Lockdown perseveres on getting weird about it revealing hidden parts. The others ask Optimus for his ideas, and he comes up with "Transformers: Mystery Boy Con". The others are bewildered by this and Lockdown calls him an idiot. Optimus attempts to throw the question back to Megatron who announces he's ceased caring about the entire thing.
