When Megatron asked for a video idea to destroy the Autobots' online popularity, Mirage showed the Decepticons Devilman Crybaby. Megatron thought doing an anime like it was perfect for their next video. Anime Attack!

Notes

• Devilman Crybaby was a 2018 anime reboot of Go Nagai's 1972 Devilman manga series. Like the War for Cybertron Trilogy cartoon, Devilman Crybaby was a Netflix exclusive, which is why it was promoted in the short.
• Several Transformers voice actors also provided voice work for Devilman Crybaby, including Kōki Uchiyama, Kenjirō Tsuda, Atsuko Tanaka, Yasuhiro Takato, Takuya Kirimoto, Masato Obara, Johnny Yong Bosch, Keith Silverstein, and Ben Pronsky.
