Quantum Crystals are in-game items that provide more characters and may tempt you to spend precious Cybercoins or real money. rare minerals required to power up the Space Bridge and bring more Autobots and Decepticons to battle on Earth.

If Cystals lock on to the coordinates of a certain bot, there are chances of the bot appearing through the space bridge. It is possible for the Space bridge to create an amalgamation / hologram of a pre-existing bot. This causes them to either dissipate and convert into Spark and Energon, along with a set number of shards that be used create crystals for higher star rating bots, or it will become an existing duplicate of the bot that exists, just at a rating.

But more often than not, resources come through instead of bots. These prizes can vary from Sparks used in Research and battle boosters that can aid on the battlefield. Rarer crystals may also give Energon or crystal shards.

Many varieties of crystals can be found over Earth:

• Naturally-generating purple Free Crystals can be collected periodically every 8 hours. They provide resources and sometimes 1-3 star bots. And a whole lotta duplicates
• The Turquoise Mixed Boost Crystal is only obtained from bundles and is only capable of giving Sparks, Energon, or battle boosts.
• Premium Crystals are particularly rare crystals and are mostly bought at 450 Cybercoins each. They give 2-4 star bots.
• Character crystals, obtained for 600 Cybercoins or purchased with real money from Character bundles, are Premium Crystals with a slight chance of obtaining the named bot, but not always guaranteed. The characters offered for sale change periodically.
• Five grades of Character Crystals give a guaranteed character of a specific star rating, and can be constructed with shards collected from duplicate bots and events.
  • Bronze 2 Star Crystals can be constructed from 1400 2-star Character shards, primarily obtained from duplicate 1-star bots. Whole crystals are also a prize in some events.
  • Silver 3 Star Crystals require 2000 shards, which are the most most plentiful, as they can be obtained in every event.
  • Gold 4 Star Crystals require 2500 shards. They're not easy to obtain, as they are high-end prizes in events.
  • The rarest of the rare of crystals, the 5 Star Crystal, is the hardest crystal to get by far and just recently discovered. It requires too many 5,000 5 star crystal shards, which are obtained from 4 star bot replicates, and ONLY 4 star duplicates. Only doichemarks who have no life diligent and active Bots or Cons can have the hopes of attaining this one-of-a-kind crystal, for bringing the most prestigious of bots for MAXIMUM DESTRUCTION. Only a select number of bots have the prestigious ability to come through as a 5 star bot. And best of all, No duplicates! BE WARNED THOUGH. Once a set of 5 star bots is gone from the roster of 5 star bots that were collectible for the previous crystal, they're gone from the crystal for good! Previous 5 star bots can still be used though!

• Unique Event crystals have better chances of obtaining Spark, Crystal shards, Energon, or new bots.
  • When new major bots first arrive to Earth, guaranteed crystals of that bot are available only in Leaderboard events. The 2 star crystal of the new bot can be easily earned, but only the most diligent and big real-money spenders can obtain the rarest 3 or 4 star crystals. But fortunately, these bots are eventually added to the Free and Premium Crystals. It takes a while for the bots to lock onto their coordinates though.

• Along with the previous crystals, players now have access to new Faction crystals. Autobots or Decepticons previously added into the game are now available with their respective crystals of 2-5 star crystals. But if you are an Autobot / Decepticon and have at least a level 8 HQ, you unlock the opposing factions' team members of Autobots or Decepticons. So now, you can control both sides, At the same time. All crystals obtained from shards will have either a Red sheen (Autobots) or a Purple sheen (Decepticons). Every bot from the opposing side will also be 2 star and higher.

Notes

• They were called Quantum Crystals in very early beta versions of the game, but now they're simply called Crystals.
• We honestly have no idea how the Spacebridge and the corresponding Crystals can send in a duplicated version of an Autobot or Decepticon..... Or Maybe We Do... It's confusing though, so don't look to far into it.
