According to Payload's bio, the Decepticons depend on Payload to acquire energy and...currency? I understand that Payload is an armored truck, which is often used to transport money, but why would the Decepticons use money to buy the gear they need? I would imagine it would be almost just as simple to steal the equipment and supplies they need. The only way stealing money would make any sense would be that Payload obtains the money (by hoodwinking unsuspecting guards), lays low for a period of time, then uses the money to buy gear. Again, stealing the gear itself would be just as easy.
As far as the Payload toy itself, it seems to be doomed as a pegwarmer (I got one, so I did my part). About the only good thing Payload has going for it is that it could be retooled and redecoed into G1 Rodimus Prime. Zadok Rox 21:53, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
