Talk:Crasher (G1)

Shattered Glass Crasher would either be her own article or a footnote, depending on how much coverage she got.--RosicrucianTalk 14:55, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
- I was thinking the same thing, since we treat the other Shattered Glass guys seperately from their regular G1 versions. --FFN 17:01, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
I know it's not relevant, but I just have to say it - that cyborg stuf IS part of Challenge of the GoBots. S'part of that story with the Master Renegade and the Last Guardian, and gets reffed in the Rock Lords movie. Okay, resume normal functions. - Chris McFeely 23:55, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
- I think that people who're adding GoBots information (trivial or not) need to be clear about just what source they're referring to. In this case, it's the old robots-vs-cyborgs issue that keeps turning up. Some early Tonka write-ups, specifically page 1 of the ZOD book, appear to support the latter but never explicitly declare the GoBots we all knew circa 1984. Most of the toy-related material from Tonka or Golden Books is off in some respect and should carry about as much weight as the "Enemy ROBOT Race Car" label on both of Crasher's cards. The only serious attempt at consistent storytelling (and where 90% of the characterization derives from), Challenge of the GoBots, complicates matters further by not only being less direct (neither the Last Engineer's story nor offhand remarks in Battle of the Rocklords are to be taken out of their context) but at times downright contradictory (timelines as laid out by In Search of Ancient GoBonauts). --68.82.87.66 00:32, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
