Skyfeather is an Autobot from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Skyfeather, the seventh Protectobot and human (or rather, robot) shield. Say, that head design is pretty reminiscent of Red Alert...

Skyfeather (スカイフェザー Sukaifezā) flies, flies, and flies. They form the upper torso of Gaia Guardian and the shield of God Guardian.

Skyfeather was with Heatrock when they tried to stop Swindle from stealing Metroplex's transformation cog. Despite Skyfeather being a VTOL Jet, Swindle got away. Hmm. Bad at Fighting? Rescue Team Protectobots, Dispatch!

Much later, they were among the heroic Kreons who visited the Legends World to defend it from the Decepticons. Unlike Optimus Prime, they brought a parachute and thus survived their dramatic entrance from the sky unscatched. Special Chapter

With a growing number of combiners serving in the Autobot military, Autobot commanders recognized that the giants came with several drawbacks, chief among them their inability to function if a teammate was incapacitated. The Protectobots thus inducted Skyfeather and Heatrock onto the team, after Rook but before Medix. Customization class Medix bio

G Guardian

Rook doesn't seem so weird once you remember the Protectobots already have a friggin' fighter jet.
  • Skyfeather (Candy toy, 2012)
    • Accessories: Blaster
Skyfeather is a snap-together candy toy model kit produced by Kabaya for their G Guardian series, coming in an individual box packed with a stick of (chalky) gum. They transform from a robot into a VTOL jet and can also form the upper torso of Gaia Guardian and the shield of God Guardian.
Like most of his G Guardian teammates, Skyfeather manages to avoid the partforming that's commonly associated with Kabaya kits, being able to fully transform from robot to jet and back without requiring any disassembly.

Notes

  • Despite Kre-O Skyfeather having a smaller version of the Air Raid helmet, the rest of the body seems to be made up (as usual with Makoto Wakabayashi's style).
